Tom Kivell
Tom has worked for Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council and Aneurin Leisure Trust for over 16 years, starting as a pool attendant and working his way up to his current role as Sport and Wellbeing Manager. Tom oversees Abertillery, Ebbw Vale and Tredegar Sports Centres, Sports Development, and the National Exercise Referral team. Tom has worked across all three sports centres and Parc Bryn Bach where he gained vast experience and knowledge in the fitness, health, and business fields. Tom's passion is creating opportunities for all demographics, abilities, and ages within facilities and area with the objective of improving health and wellbeing of the entire community.

Jamie Davies
Jamie has worked for the sports centres for over 14 years, starting out as a recreation assistant and working his way up as a fitness instructor, duty supervisor to his current role as centre manager for Abertillery sports centre. Jamie’s passion lies within the fitness industry and Blaenau Gwent and is proud to have the opportunity to change lives. He delivers several fitness classes with the aim of creating a fun, friendly, individual experience for each person that steps foot into Abertillery sports centre.

Emma Scott
Emma has worked within the sport and fitness industry for almost 20 years. She started her career with Blaenau Gwent as a part time lifeguard and is now centre manager at Tredegar sports centre. Emma loves being part of the ALT team and believes passionately in our services making a huge difference to the health and wellbeing of the local community helping people embark on their fitness journey, however big or small. Emma loves outdoor sports, swimming, and mountain biking and has a specific interest in Triathlon, becoming a Triathlon Level 2 coach with ALT.

Simon Williams
Simon has worked in leisure industry for the past 28 years. During this time, he has covered every role within the sports centre environment from lifeguarding to cleaner to fitness instructor and is now centre manager based in Ebbw Vale sports centre. Simon has a sporting background and started to play rugby at the age of 6 playing until he was in his mid-20s when life and work got in the way. He's now an avid golfer; he once had a reputation of being a bit of a 'bandit' on the golf course until the handicap system reeled him in. Simon's passion is providing the best sporting facilities possible for the local community.

Hannah Winmill
Hannah has worked within the sports development team for over eleven years. Hannah began her sports development journey as a volunteer, at the age of 16, and has since transitioned from a sports instructor, to officer, to now supervisor. Hannah manages the sports development team and the vast number of bespoke programmes and interventions that the team offers in both school and community settings. The team's primary focus, in line with Sport Wales' vision, is to ensure that 'everyone can have a lifetime enjoyment of sport'. Hannah is passionate about all things sport and is incredibly active in her spare time. She is the captain of her netball team, and an avid runner.

Scott Morris
Scott has been a part of the BGCBC and Aneurin Leisure Trust for over 18 years. He first joined as a pool recreation assistant and worked his way up to duty manager of the sports centres. Currently Scott is the exercise referral supervisor for Blaenau Gwent, where he co-ordinates and delivers on the NERS (National Exercise Referral Scheme) programme. Scott keeps himself active and participates in a range of sports from running, swimming, and climbing. He has participated in triathlons, aquathlons and road races. He recently became qualified in ZUU which aims to increase people's mobility and strength through using own body weight. Being from Ebbw Vale Scott wants to help as many people as he can within Blaenau Gwent to improve their health and quality of life.
