Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga, that involves long, static holds, using floor-based asanas in various seated and reclined poses.  This encourages muscle relaxation and myo-fascial release as well as meditative focus.

The slow, gentle and consistent stimulation of the connective tissue makes Yin Yoga particularly beneficial for long-term health of tissues and joints in the body.

The movements also help to recharge the body’s Qi energy and can provide mood boosting effects.
